Creating A Calming Décor For Relaxation

Anything and everything around us has some colors. Some are vibrant and lively to make us excited while some are subtle to soothe our senses. Sometimes all we desire is a relaxing view right in front of eyes to unwind the tired mind. As the serenity of Bahamas beach or the inspiring seascapes can’t be reached every day, their color palettes we can use to surround us with calming energy.

Any image that brings relaxing sigh to our senses can be transferred to interiors designs with right color combinations. Inspired from white sand beaches, palm trees or tea colored seas, your new relaxing scheme for décor could be anything but has to be infused with island life. For instance if your favorite holiday spot for ultimate tranquility is a South Pacific Island, incorporate wave motifs on furnishings in the living space. Keep the room spacious as much possible and paint the room with sea colors. Turquoise, blue or sea green shades can work out best and along with that enough lightning is must to open up path for newness.

Some might like the evening hours on the beach. They can try sun drenched design scheme with the hint of walnut shades to create the desired effect. Otherwise, neutral tones along with aqua colored accents within palm prints arises a tropical feel. Also, burnt oranges, soft pink accents, vibrant reds tied with earthy tones to sketch the exact sunset view on sea. To set contrast to these colors, use cushion covers in vibrant colors and then you have the most dramatic ambiance to chill out.

And late in the evening when light shifts to golden colors and sun rays become soft, it’s a dusk time to relish. You can translate this scene inside house using gold, tan and gray hues together mixed with green and blue colors for the seaside serenity.
