The chaotic atmosphere, the
unorganized room to some extend can be blamed on kids if you have any in your
home. Maintaining a perfected home décor setting does become a problem when you
have kids running here and there. In fact keeping their rooms intact is the
biggest hurdle of all, kids being kids create mess with clutter of toys and
clothes kept everywhere.
Getting your children in order
doesn’t come easy; it has to be embedded in their mind over a gradual period of
time. Just to inculcate the right values in your child and teach him to keep
his surroundings clean and tidy:
- One of the most important things
that as a parent you would like to teach your kids would be keeping his/her
stuff in a defined place. Making storage racks available to them and
showing them how things are kept, children are pretty much expected to imitate
you.
- You can many times find your child
sitting on the floor, so you can employ soft textured kid’s carpets and
tell them to use them while playing or drawing or coloring. Opt for bright
colors which engross your kids mind in their texture and print.
- Help them understand the use of
organizing as you get pen stands and tell them to put all their colors and
pencils in it. As it makes it easier for them to find their valuables.
- Since kids loves animated prints,
try to introduce a theme in their décor with colorful prints. Get them
something with wild life, cars or inter galactic scheme to woo their heart and
boggle their minds.
- Even places like bathroom should be
kept clean and organized, a little help from shower curtains and bath mats help
protect you’re your kids from slipping and making the floor wet while playing
with water in shower.
Give your child ample room to grow
and enjoy the little joys of life while simultaneously teaching them the
importance of getting organized.
